How many players does padel Americano work for?

PadelBracket's Americano works for 4 to 24 players. Supported counts: 4, 8, 12, 16, 20 and 24 players — always multiples of 4 to match the number of courts.

How does Americano scoring work?

Points are counted per individual player after each round. Partners rotate so everyone plays with and against everyone. The player with the highest total points at the end wins the Americano.

What is the difference between Americano and Round Robin?

In Americano, partners rotate every round — you always have a new partner. In Round Robin, pairs are fixed and every team plays every other team. Americano is ideal for social sessions; Round Robin suits competitive club formats.

What is the difference between Americano and Mexicano?

In Americano, the partner rotation is pre-determined before the tournament starts. In Mexicano, partners are re-paired after each round based on the current standings — the top two players on the leaderboard play against players three and four, and so on. Mexicano gets increasingly competitive as the tournament progresses.
